Food Safety and Food Quality

The Government of Canada is working with provincial and territorial governments, and industry to build on existing food safety and quality measures while undertaking new measures to enable the tracing of food products along the food production chain. These meassures will improve the sector's ability to identify and respond to food safety issues and concerns, while improving market access and opportunities for the sector.
