Thresholds for Review

Non-Canadians who are subject to the Act must submit either a Notification or an Application for Review. The thresholds determine which form you must submit. They change annually and the amount is published in the Canada Gazette.

As Applications for Review and Notifications are resolved, they are published here on a monthly basis. They contain only the infomation which may be disclosed under the Act, namely the name of the Investor and his location, the name of the business being acquired or established and its location, and a description of the business activities of the Canadian business.
