MINISTER STRAHL TO MEET MINISTER BYRNE IN ST. JOHN’S, NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR

Ottawa, February 21, 2006 – Federal Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food and Minister for the Canadian Wheat Board Chuck Strahl will be in St. John’s to meet with Newfoundland and Labrador Minister of Natural Resources Ed Byrne on Wednesday, February 22. Both Ministers will be available to speak to media after their meeting. Minister Strahl will also be meeting with industry leaders during his visit to St. John’s.
