European Brown Garden Snail - Helix aspersa (Müller)


Helix aspersa - Agriculture and Agri-food Canada, Research Branch Helix aspersa feeds on a wide variety of vegetables, flowers, fruit, ornamental plants and weeds. Dead animal tissue and paper products are also eaten.

Distribution in North America: Canada (Lower Mainland B.C. and Vancouver Island), Mexico, USA (Arizona, California, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oregon, South Carolina, Texas, Utah).
