Rosy (Pink) Gypsy Moth - Lymantria mathura Moore


male - USDA Forest Service Hosts include (Quercus), apple (Malus), pear (Pyrus), cherry (Prunus spp.) and beech (Fagus). Recorded tropical hosts are Anthocephalus cadamba, Mangifera indica, Quercus incana, Q. serrata, Syzygium cuminii, Terminalia arjuna, T. myriocarpa; and the 'sal' tree, Shorea robusta in India.

This species does not occur in North America.
