1. (1) The definitions in this subsection apply in this Part.
"equipment" includes machinery. (équipement)
(2) Unless otherwise provided in this Part, other words and expressions have the same
meaning as in the Act and the Regulations.
2. (1) Subject to section 3, the fees set out in items 1, 3 to 13 of table 1 and table
2 and 3 of this Part shall be paid on receipt of an invoice from the Agency.
(2) The fees set out in item 2 of table 1 shall be paid at the time the application for
issuance or amendment of a permit is submitted.
3. An inspector may require that a fee set out in any of items 1, 3 to 13 of table 1 or
in table 2 and 3 be paid before the service is provided, if the person who requests that
service

this Part is provided by a centre of expertise of the Agency, the fee payable for that
