Natural Resources Canada Launches New Forest Fire Web Site

To provide information about forest fire conditions across the country, Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) has launched a new Web site, http://fire.cfs.nrcan.gc.ca. The Web site includes daily fire maps from the Canadian Wildland Fire Information System, a weekly National Forest Fire Situation Report, facts about fores fires and extensive information about the fire research activities of NRCan's Canadian Forest Service (CFS).
