The Department of Natural Resources has a legislated mandate to promote the sustainable development of Canada's natural resources so as to meet the needs of present generations of Canadians without compromising the quality of life for future generations. As a result, the Earth Sciences Sector has put forward programs contributing to priorities issues. The Aeronautical and Technical Services, a division of the Earth Sciences Sector, is always committed to support the Aeronautical Charting Program to strive towards impacting on the issue of « Strong and Safe Communities »
