Expo Expected to Break
Records
This marks the 70th year the AHR Expo has been held in
Chicago. The Show is expected to break records for number of
exhibitors, net exhibit space and number of international
companies. Go

Growing a Stronger
ASHRAE
President Lee Burgett updated members and guests on the
work being done by ASHRAE. “Without ASHRAE members, our
Society cannot grow,” he said at the 2006 Winter Meeting.

ASHRAE Recognizes Member
Contributions
ASHRAE recognized 38 people for their contributions to
ASHRAE and the HVAC&R; industry at the Society’s 2006
Winter Meeting taking place this week in Chicago. Among the
honorees are 18 new Fellows and a new inductee into the ASHRAE
Hall of Fame. Read

Chest
Jasper Woodroof, the father of food science, is the newest
inductee into ASHRAE’s Hall of Fame. Read a paper written
by Woodroof in 1945 about frozen
