Display Fireworks Course

This one-day
course is a companion to the Display Fireworks Manual and
serves to promote the safe use of display fireworks as functioned
at outdoor fireworks displays. Unless otherwise stated, all courses
begin at 0830 hrs and finish at approximately 1600 hrs with the
usual refreshment and lunch breaks. Successful completion of the
course is a prerequisite for entry into the field as an Apprentice
and then to be certified as a Fireworks Supervisor.
Registration is now required prior to attending the Display Fireworks
course anywhere in the country. Persons wishing to attend the course
must complete a registration form and return it along with two (2)
photos (3 cm x 2.5 cm) and the required fee of $100 (make certified
cheque or money order payable to the Receiver General for Canada).
Note:
Natural Resources Canada does not automatically gather any personal
information from you, such as your name, phone number, e-mail or
street address. This information is only obtained if you supply
it
voluntarily. All personal information you do provide is protected
under
the federal Privacy
Act.
Please mail the Registration Form, passport photos, and payment
to the attention of the responsible contact noted below. The course
fee will be refunded if attendance is canceled up to ten (10) working
days in advance of the course date. Applicants may submit their
names well in advance by mail or fax so that a waiting list can
be created to facilitate the selection of future course locations
and dates.
