Department of Public Safety recognizes partners and employees

Public Safety Minister Wayne Steeves recently recognized staff and some of his department's community partners. Awards were presented at regional meetings held in the Edmundston area.
 
"The Department of Public Safety has many partners who do a tremendous amount of work for us," Steeves said. "The contributions of these partners help us provide quality services to our clients and build a safer New Brunswick."
 
 

Province shares funds from investigation

The cities of Moncton and Dieppe recently received $65,000 each from the Province of New Brunswick for the involvement of the former Moncton and Dieppe police forces in an investigation carried out in co-operation with the RCMP.
 
Public Safety Minister Wayne Steeves said he was pleased to have the opportunity to recognize the partnership that existed between the former Moncton and Dieppe police forces and the RCMP.
