Look for an Energy Management Service Provider

The Energy Innovators Initiative (EII) cannot provide on-site advice or recommend specific products and consultants. We can, however, supply Energy Retrofit Assistance (ERA) funding to help you hire an energy professional for your project if you are a commercial, institutional or other eligible organizations.

Directory of Providers

Natural Resources Canada's Office of Energy Efficiency maintains a searchable list of consultants and other service providers through the Energy Management Services Directory. This list does not pre-qualify firms to participate in funded projects. Since many provide services across Canada, use the name of a city near you to help narrow a search locally. Also, remember that the EII prefers the accreditation of Certified Engineer Technologist or higher for retrofit planning activities and requires the signature of a Professional Engineer for retrofit implementation projects. As an alternative, you may want to contact energy management service companies that are pre-qualified bidders for projects in Government of Canada buildings.

Information for Service Providers

We also offer information specifically for service providers that outlines how they can work as an ally with the EII.
