Get Ready Sessions - Overview
In October and November, the PSC delivered Series 2 of the Get Ready sessions across Canada. The topics covered were:
- the transitional provisions of the PSEA as outlined in the Public Service Modernization Act (PSMA);
- executive appointments;
- PSC investigations;
- Political activities;
- the Public Service Staffing Tribunal (PSST).
Approximately 1,126 participants from 54 departments and agencies and representatives from bargaining agents attended 17 sessions delivered in the NCR and in 10 cities. The vast majority of the participants were HR specialists.
