Payment Inquiries

• Inquiries regarding payment must be directed to Blue Cross.
• Blue Cross is available for telephone inquiries from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (local time) Monday to Friday, except statutory holidays. The toll-free telephone line is: 1-888-261-4033. Client Eligibility and Benefit Authorization Inquiries

• With the exception of POC 10 pre-authorizations, inquiries regarding client eligibility and benefit authorization must be directed to a VAC Treatment Authorization Centre.
• To request POC 10 pre-authorizations, pharmacists or physicians must contact the Special Authorization Unit at 1-888-822-2884 (1-888-VAC-AUTH). The Special Authorization Unit is staffed by health care professionals from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (local time) and by an answering service on an extended hours' basis.
