POC 5 - Hospital Services

POC 5 offers benefits for treatment services provided in an acute care, chronic care or rehabilitative care hospital which are not provided free of charge under a provincial health care program. It includes both inpatient and outpatient services provided to an eligible client in an accredited provincial hospital. Costs for private or semi-private rooms are not normally covered by Veterans Affairs Canada.
