Handicrafts Program

Residents learn how to do handicrafts which are then sold at community events or special occasions. Part of the profits is paid to the residents who made the crafts.

Commemoration Activities

photo of a veteran with a child on Remembrance DaySte. Anne's Hospital has not lost sight of the common bond shared by all of its residents, which is their military experience. Thus, commemorative events, such as Remembrance Day, are observed every year. The Hospital also encourages interaction between veterans who belong to the same military association or Legion Branch. The solemn ceremony of covering the coffin with the Canadian flag is a dignified tribute to a veteran who has passed away.
