The Valentines for Vets program serves as a tangible reminder that our nation's Veterans are appreciated and valued, not only on Remembrance Day but all year long. The Valentines for Vets program is an opportunity for educators to share with Canadian youth the accomplishments and sacrifices of our nation's Veterans, and gives our youth a greater understanding of Canada's proud war history.

The personal touch of hand-crafted Valentines leaves a lasting impression and brings smiles to the faces of Veterans all across our nation. Though they have never met the sender, some Veterans shed tears of appreciation as they read the heartfelt messages from children. Others will display their cards for weeks after Valentine's Day.
