Even Better Service, Coming Right Up

If you are not satisfied with a decision that has been made by Veterans Affairs on your pension claim, you can contact the Bureau of Pensions Advocates for free legal advice, assistance and representation. Now, the Bureau has put in place a new client service initiative to help serve you better. It has three main parts:

  • A new series of fact sheets to help guide you through the review and appeal process. At each step, your Advocate will also give you useful information so you can be prepared and know what to expect.
  • A new client service procedure to make sure you are contacted earlier and more often, either by phone or in writing.
  • A client questionnaire. If a Bureau Advocate represents you at a hearing, you will be asked to fill out a questionnaire. With the help of your feedback, the Bureau can make sure it is providing excellent client service.
