Veterans' Week Poster

Every year, Veterans Affairs Canada unveils a new poster to commemorate Veterans' Week. This year, the poster honours the sacrifices and achievements of some 100,000 veterans of the Second World War who fought in the Italian Campaign.

During the 20-month campaign, Canada suffered more than 26,000 casualties, nearly 6,000 of whom lost their lives. As in past years, posters were distributed to more than 17,400 schools across Canada and thousands more were proudly displayed in Canada's public buildings and homes.
