Veterans Affairs Canada: Proudly Serving Canada's Veteran Community
  Issue #2, Winter 2002

Bravo, Rachel!

As Executive Director of Ste. Anne's Hospital, Rachel Corneille Gravel has spent the better part of her professional life committed to helping veterans who call the Hospital home. Their quality of life is always her uppermost concern and, to that end, Rachel has been instrumental in improving the Hospital's efficiency so that it continues to offer veterans the best possible care.

As a result of her hard work and dedication on behalf of the residents of Ste. Anne's, Rachel was recognized at the Public Service of Canada's 2001 Outstanding Achievement Awards ceremony in Ottawa. This award is given to senior public service employees to celebrate their high calibre of service and accomplishments over the course of their career with the federal government. Ste. Anne's Hospital, located just outside Montréal, Quebec, is the last remaining federal hospital administered by VAC.
