Jean Marcel D'Aoust receives the Caring Canadian Award

Second World War Veteran Jean Marcel D'Aoust has been volunteering his time and skills for more than 50 years. About 15 years ago, he joined the team of volunteers at the Ste. Anne's Hospital Liaison Centre. Today, he is an important part of the team, helping fellow Veterans and their families who come to the Centre for support. Mr. D'Aoust is well known at the Centre for his kindness and good cheer. He is a comfort to all and never fails to inspire! Earlier this year, Mr. D'Aoust was one of 10 people chosen to receive the Governor General's Caring Canadian Award. We are very proud of you, Mr. D'Aoust!
