Dementia Pamphlet Available

Dementia, including a very common form called Alzheimer Disease, affects many seniors. If you, or someone you know, would like more information about this family of illnesses and where to seek help, please call the Salute! toll-free telephone line (1-866-552-2122) and ask for a free copy of our Dementia and Alzheimer Disease pamphlet. You also can visit our Web site to learn more about how VAC is partnering with the Alzheimer Society on a registry program that helps people with Alzheimer Disease return home safely if they wander. Go to www.vac-acc.gc.ca and look under Clients, then Health Promotion.
