Veterans Affairs Canada: Proudly Serving Canada's Veteran Community
  March 2004

It's Groundbreaking Work!

It's Groundbreaking Work!At Ste. Anne's Hospital, work has started on a new power plant and electrical substation. This work is part of a much larger project to modernize the hospital so that it better meets the needs of the veterans who live there. Every precaution has been taken to make sure that veterans who live at the hospital continue to receive the best of care. During some phases of the project, the number of new admissions will be reduced but our regional office in Quebec will be working with other institutions to make sure these clients receive the care they need. The hospital, managed by Veterans Affairs Canada, is located in the West Island of Montréal, Quebec.

Marcel Otis, President of the Ste. Anne's Hospital Patients' Committee, "digs in" to help celebrate the groundbreaking ceremony to modernize Ste. Anne's Hospital.
