Spring Cleaning

To help celebrate Pharmacy Awareness Week (March 5 - 11), pharmacists suggest that you go through all the prescription and over-the-counter medications you have at home and remove those that have expired or that you no longer take. You should also discard medications that are no longer in their original containers or that have labels you can no longer read. Don't throw your unwanted medication in the garbage (children or pets could find them) or flush it down the toilet (that could harm our environment). Instead, take these medications to your pharmacy. They will dispose of them safely.
