Climate Change The One–Tonne Challenge All Canadians produce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions that contribute to climate change — every time we turn on a light, drive to the corner store, start up a computer or do anything that uses energy. If we're part of the problem, we can be part of the solution. Canada's Climate Change Plan challenges all Canadians to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions by one tonne.
