1. Status of applications
Following receipt of your completed application package under the Workplace Skills Initiative (WSI), a letter of acknowledgement was mailed to the contact person identified on the application form.
Applicants whose proposals do not meet WSI's eligibility criteria will be notified by mail. Notifications will be mailed by December 31, 2005.
Applicants whose proposals do meet the eligibility criteria will not be contacted until funding decisions have been made. These applications will undergo a thorough review. No information will be provided to applicants, namely on the status of their application, during the review process.
2. Impact of Election Call
The Workplace Skills Initiative is proceeding with the review process as originally planned. WSI will provide updates on this issue on the website, whenever possible, throughout the election period.
3. Future Calls for Proposals
No date for the next Call for Proposals has yet been established, given that an election has been called. We encourage those interested in applying for funding during the next Call for Proposals to continue to visit the News and Updates section of this website.
