The Gerontological Advisory Council

The Gerontological Advisory Council was formed by Veterans Affairs Canada in October, 1997 to advise the Department on policies, programs, services and trends impacting Canada's aging veteran population.

VAC-Canadian Forces Advisory Council

Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC) formally established the Veterans Affaris Canada -Canadian Forces Advisory Council (VAC-CFAC) in July 2000 to provide the Minister and the Department with advice on the development of new or the enhancement of existing policies, programs and services for Canadian Forces members, veterans and their families.
