Partnerships and Priorities

SR&ED Partnership Committee

The SR&ED Partnership Committee is a joint initiative between industry and CRA SR&ED representatives. The SR&ED Partnership Committee participates in the development and implementation of the overall strategic direction of the SR&ED program for continuous improvement in the program's administration and delivery, and allows the private sector and the CRA to better understand each other's perspective concerning the program's administrative policy.

SR&ED Strategic Business Plan

The SR&ED Strategic Business Plan was developed by the joint CRA- private sector SR&ED Partnership Committee. It identifies the priorities and key deliverables that will guide the evolution of the program over the next several years.

SR&ED 2005 Client Survey

The SR&ED 2005 client survey is now closed. Phase 5, the independent market research firm responsible for conducting the survey, is currently analyzing the data to determine how the program is faring. We will report their findings in 2006 on our Web site. Thank you to all of those who participated.

SR&ED 2002 Client Survey Results

In 2002, the CRA, in co-operation with industry, engaged an independent firm to conduct a survey of SR&ED claimants. The survey results suggest that the SR&ED program has improved significantly, although several areas could benefit from continued improvement.

We would like to acknowledge the claimants who participated in the 2002 survey, as their contributions have been instrumental in the continuous improvement of the program's administration and delivery.
