A Closeup View of Afghanistan

Join us at The Military Museums on the evening of January 30th for a compelling forum: “A Closeup View of Afghanistan” with 4 distinguished panel guests including 2 recently returned soldiers - Major Erik Liebert and Major Bob Herold, CBC national news correspondent Carolyn Dunn and Janice Eisenhauer from Women for Women in Afghanistan, a not-for-profit agency dedicated to assisting women in Afghanistan. The evening will be hosted by the new Director of The Military Museums, Lieutenant-Colonel Tom Doucette.

The forum will allow speakers an opportunity to discuss their experiences in the war-torn country and the developments that are shaping the future of Afghanistan. Areas of discussion will include humanitarian assistance, military activities, political and economic developments and current challenges. This is a must-see event for those wishing to get a better understanding of the current efforts in Afghanistan. Following the forum will be a question and answer period.
