GRAHAM - FINLAND TELECONFERENCE

Media representatives are advised that Foreign Affairs Minister Bill Graham will be available on Thursday, October 10, for a teleconference from Finland, where he is attending the Third Arctic Council Ministerial Meeting.

The Arctic Council is a high-level forum that brings together participants from the eight circumpolar countries (Canada, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Russia, Sweden, and the United States), and six International Indigenous Peoples organizations (Aleut International Association, Arctic Athabascan Council, Gwich'in Council International, Inuit Circumpolar Conference, Saami Council, and the Russian Association of Indigenous Peoples of the North).

Media representatives interested in participating by telephone should call the Media Relations Office before 10:00 a.m., on October 10, to obtain the call-in number and access code.
