Chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) CFCs are a group of organic chemicals consisting of carbon, chlorine, and fluorine. They are hydrocarbon derivatives where chlorine and fluorine partially or fully replace the hydrogen. CFC-11 and CFC-12 are the most abundant CFCs. |
