The role of the Aircraft Certification division is to ensure the continuing safety of type-certificated aircraft designs operating in the region.

  • Approval of modifications and major repairs on aircraft.
  • Issuance of supplemental type certificates and repair design certificates.
  • Familiarization/acceptance of FAA STC's.
  • Delegation and monitoring of Design Approval Representatives/Organizations (DAR's/DAO's).
  • Assistance to DAR's, DAO's, AIR-M's with aircraft importations.
