Help
Accessibility of the site.
This section describes some of the features of this site that will increase its accessibility to users of assistive or non-standard Web technologies.
- This site complies with the Treasury Board Common Look and Feel policy relating to Federal Identity, Official Languages and accessibility.
- All pages are consistently designed.
- Tables are only used to layout navigation bars. Since the order of the links in the navigation bar is not critical, visitors with browsers that don't display tables will not be affected.
- All font effects and other visual layout are accomplished using a Cascading Style Sheet (CSS). This means that visitors using browsers that do not support CSS will have full access to the content of the application, in a logical reading order.
- The first link on the page (following the Federal Identity information) will skip over the navigation bar and position the visitor at the start of the main content of the page.
- Similarly, using the TAB key, the visitor can reach the start of the main content of the page with just one or two keystrokes strokes. (Actual number of keystrokes will vary from browser to browser. Not all browsers support this function.)
- This site is designed to be viewable at any resolution. All text can be scaled to suit the needs of the visitor. This may cause some wrapping of lines at higher magnifications.
- Most graphical browsers allow the user some control over the font size and colour combinations that are displayed. See your browser's help for details.
