The Department of Justice is in the process of finalizing the upgrading of its online ability to consolidate legislation and to provide for regular and timely updating of Acts and regulations on our public Web site. As the consolidation of the Acts and regulations has progressed, the data on the Web site has been updated.

The regulations on this Web site are now current to September 15, 2006.

The Acts are also current to September 15, 2006. As a result of the upgrade, 'Not in force' provisions will be temporarily unavailable.

Note that the Income Tax Act and the Income Tax Regulations are not included in these updates.

We expect that the next update of both Acts and regulations will occur in January 2007 when the change to the new technical environment has been completed. Updates after this point should occur on a weekly basis. We thank you for your understanding during this upgrading process.
