User's Guide – NFC 2005, Application and Intent Statements

The User's Guide – NFC 2005, Application and Intent Statements contains detailed statements of the specific intent of the provisions of the 2005 National Fire Code of Canada (NFC) and detailed statements on what the NFC provisions apply to.  It does not include the NFC provisions: this User's Guide is published as a complement to the printed version of the 2005 NFC.

The application and intent statements are accessible from the drilled-down table of contents of the NFC 2005. Each analysis window contains the objectives, functional statements, application and intent statements applicable to the Code provisions. Active internal links allow the users to consult the definition of terms, objectives and functional statements. An easy-to-use search engine is also provided.

This document is only available on a CD-ROM for PC's using Microsoft Windows.
