This is a continuing position.
Your Challenge
Reporting to the Manager, the successful candidate will provide efficient and effective administrative support for the Canadian Construction Materials Centre (CCMC). The incumbent refers inquiries to appropriate professional and technical staff, provides information/advice to CCMC clients on matters related to the product evaluation process, provides direction to the general public and finalizes reports and listings produced by others. The incumbent is also responsible for greeting visitors at the reception desk.
Screening Criteria

Education
Successful completion of secondary school according to provincial standards.
Experience
Significant experience working in a computerized office environment. Experience in responding to clients both verbally and in writing. Significant experience in working in a multi-tasking environment.

Assessment Criteria
Candidates will be assessed on the basis of the following criteria:
Technical Competencies:
Working knowledge of computer software utilized for purposes of document management. Advanced knowledge of associated software utilized in a computerized administrative environment (MS Word, E-mail). Knowledge of office procedures. Ability to work independently as well as in a team, with minimum supervision.

Salary Range
From $32,268 to $42,782 per annum plus the Bilingualism Bonus of $800 a year.
