		We are the Canadian Association for Environmental Analytical Laboratories (CAEAL), a non-profit organization with the mission to help laboratories achieve and demonstrate the highest levels of scientific and management excellence through the combined principles of Competence, Consistency, Credibility and Communication. Our member laboratories voluntarily participate in rigorous programs of proficiency testing and accreditation, demonstrating their commitment to generate high quality data.
		CAEAL became a signatory to the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) Mutual Recognition Arrangement (MRA) on November 17, 2005. On November 12, 2006, CAEAL participated in the official signing at the ILAC/IAF Conference in Cancun, Mexico.
