Corrections research

PSEPC employs some of the world’s foremost experts in corrections research. We conduct research in support of policy development in priority areas and on many topics, including:

  • High-risk/violent offenders
  • Sexual offenders
  • Community corrections
  • Offender treatment and rehabilitation
  • Restorative justice
  • Aboriginal corrections

The research helps in the development of effective strategies for dealing with high-risk violent offenders while providing appropriate alternatives to incarceration for low-risk offenders.

See the Research section and look under Corrections for our online library of reports and publications on corrections.
