It is estimated that up to one in eight Canadian couples experiences infertility. Now more than ever, Canadians are turning to assisted human reproduction (AHR) procedures to help build their families. This Web site serves as the primary source of information to stakeholders and other interested parties regarding the development of the components for the regulatory framework under the Assisted Human Reproduction Act. It will also provide information on AHR, news releases regarding Health Canada's activities in this area, and information on international AHR activities.
