SIMS Research Groups

Introduction

The NRC Steacie Institute for Molecular Sciences (NRC-SIMS) delivers NRC's Molecular Sciences Program. NRC-SIMS investigates topics in molecular sciences that have the potential to generate and transform the technologies of the future. We work in partnership with researchers inside and outside NRC, both nationally and internationally, to develop innovative materials, processes and technologies in the areas of molecular diagnostics and imaging as well as clean energy alternatives.
Our research groups are:

Atomic, Molecular and Optical Science (AMOS)

Biomolecular Sensing and Imaging (BSI)

Canadian Neutron Beam Centre – Chalk River(CNBC)

Molecular and Nanomaterials Architecture (MNA)

Materials Structure and Function (MSF)

Theory and Computation (TC)
