Service Providers

A service provider is any organization that has entered into an agreement with a reporting entity to send reports to FINTRAC on the reporting entity’s behalf.

The process for a reporting entity to delegate reporting to a service provider is done within the administrative menu in F2R and involves both the reporting entity and the service provider. First, a service provider needs to enrol with FINTRAC. Next, they access F2R to get a service provider number. The service provider then needs to give their service provider number to the reporting entity for the delegation permissions to be assigned.

The process for reporting permission delegation is the same whether the service provider will be sending reports in F2R or by batch.
