Welcome to the National Research Council of Canada's Information Centre in Charlottetown. We are one of the many branches of the Canada Institute for Scientific and Technical Information (CISTI), a world-renowned source for information in all areas of science, technology, engineering, and medicine.

The NRC Information Centre (NIC) in Charlottetown provides a comprehensive range of services to help you solve a wide variety of information challenges.

The NIC library resources are located in the Classroom Centre at the University of Prince Edward Island campus, and at the Institute for Nutrisciences and Health, temporarily located at CFIA (Canada Food Inspection Agency).

NRC Information Centres work closely with NRC's research institutes and the NRC Industrial Research Assistance Program (IRAP) to promote the transfer of technology to the private sector. The Centres are also members of the Canadian Technology Network (CTN).
