HTS - Libraries
The current HTS library contains approximately 111,500 pure compounds. 90,000 of these compounds are held in three general-purpose-HTS collections that were selected and acquired from commercial HTS libraries. It must be noted that there are no intellectual property (IP) issues with these 90,000 compounds; results of the screening belong entirely to the client.
The Facility also has approximately 21,500 other compounds from natural sources (e.g. plant extracts), commercial sources or synthesized BRI-designed libraries. IP issues might arise from hits obtained with these compounds.
ChemDiv (www.chemdiv.com)
- CombiLabTM 70K collection
- ReplateTM 10K collection
These two diversity-enhanced and orthogonal collections were selected from the Chemical Diversity Labs (ChemDiv., Inc.) library of organic compounds. The compounds comply with the current standards for drug-likeness and bioavailability. Synthetic SAR follow-up around identified hits is generally available through ChemDiv, Inc.
Tripos (www.tripos.com)
- OptiverseTM 10K collection
This collection was selected and acquired from the OptiverseTM 100K-compound library offered by Tripos, Inc./Panlabs, Inc. Chemical diversity and drug-likeliness were enriched during the selection. The HTS Facility later confirmed that the Tripos and ChemDiv collections are not redundant.
