Mr. Daniel Gosselin

Daniel Gosselin, NRC Chief Financial Officer, is a chartered accountant and obtained his bachelor degree in Business Administration from the Université du Québec à Hull.
Prior to his present position, Mr. Gosselin spent the first eight years of his career in the private sector working for accounting firms; was then responsible for budget control of a hospital for two years; the next six years as senior financial analyst, chief accountant and Director of Finance and Procurement with a crown corporation; and another six years as Director of Finance and Awards Administration for the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada. Mr. Gosselin's responsibilities cover accounting operations, advisory services, planning and budgeting as well as policy and business.
Mr. Gosselin is also very involved in his community and has been, for the last 15 years, an active member of the "Comptables agréés de l'Outaouais." He is also the President of the Provincial Committee on Continuous Training at the "Ordre des comptables agréés du Québec."
