Salma Rajwani

NRC Council Member

Ms. Rajwani has earned a B.Sc. degree in Computing Science from the University of Alberta. Earlier in her career, she was Executive Director of Information Technology for Alberta Advanced Education. She also played a pivotal role on a number of federal and provincial cross-government-funded IT initiatives and on several national committees as a technology innovator and advocate. She is currently Chief Information Officer for Acrodex, Edmonton, one of the largest privately held information technology firms in Canada.

Ms. Rajwani was appointed to NRC's Council in October 2003. She is also a member of the Advisory Board of the NRC Institute for Information Technology.
