About the Research Ethics Boards
NRC's Research Ethics Boards (REBs), and their support staff, are central to NRC's human subject ethics functions.
Reporting to the Senior Executive Committee through the Secretary General, NRC's REBs review applications for human subjects ethics approval, oversee and advise on the ethical aspects of all research involving human subjects in which NRC participates, and provide a resource for education, guidance and leadership in the application of ethical principles in the conduct of research involving human subjects.
