Audit and Evaluation

National Research Council (NRC) carries out audits and evaluations of its institutes, programs and initiatives, led by a team of well-qualified professionals. Audits help determine value-for-money and compliance with policies and procedures (government-wide and NRC) among NRC institutes, programs and initiatives. Evaluations help us understand the relevance, success and cost-effectiveness of NRC institutes, programs and initiatives.

The results of this work provide NRC Senior Management with recommendations for improvements, used in strategic planning, performance and risk management.
