In the past, the Hazardous Materials Information Review Commission (HMIRC) did not have a documented policy development process for issues affecting the application and interpretation of its legislation. Through its renewal, the Commission wishes to involve stakeholders in the development and amendment to policies relating to the administration of the Hazardous Materials Information Review Act (HMIRA) and Regulations (HMIRR).
