The President and Chief Executive Officer is appointed by the Governor in Council, and has the authority and
responsibility to supervise and direct the Commission’s work on a day-to-day basis.
In adopting a three business
line structure, the Commission has undertaken, over the course of the past year, a complete reorganization and
redefinition of jobs in its three core areas. This action has had the effect of significantly reinforcing the
renewal mandate of the Commission.
