Services

NRC's Biotechnology Research Institute offers specialized service facilities to third-party clients from the public and private sectors active in the Health, Biomanufacturing and Environmental industries. BRI's turnkey services are a powerful resource for organizations that require specialized equipment, new technologies, and highly skilled personnel to complement their research efforts. Access to these state-of-the-art facilities is provided in areas where equivalent services are not offered by the Canadian private industry.

The vast range of platform technologies and scientific expertise available at BRI provide organizations with fast and easy access to select services that are available on a fee-for-service basis. In addition to the standard services provided, scientists from these facilities can discuss and guide researchers in experimental design, by creating tailored solutions to research-specific issues, or, in some instances, by offering training programs.

Services available at BRI are not limited to those provided by these facilities. Indeed, all 18 BRI research groups offer to clients and partners alike, a larger array of expertise where the specific needs of individual clients are met, by means of customized service contracts or collaborative agreements.
